Webpages Anticipated to Become the Premier Portal for New Business Ventures
The Richardson Economic Development Partnership (REDP), a joint effort by the Richardson Chamber of Commerce and the City of Richardson, has recently put into motion a new webpage aimed specifically at jump-starting entrepreneurs off the ground. The REDP provides information regarding the capital, training, and technical assistance for entrepreneurs to establish and grow their business. The website also contains consulting, educational, and financial help to accommodate everything a new startup company needs.

The REDP understands the momentous undertaking a new business must face, and has entire webpages dedicated to Business Plan Resources, Entrepreneurship Training, Financial Resources, Resource Library, and Resources for Technology. The entrepreneurs website offers many business plan services such as the Service Corps of Retired Executives (S.C.O.R.E.) to counsel entrepreneurs on preventing mistakes made in the early stages of their business. There are Small Business Administration (SBA) Loan programs of up to $2 million (75% funded) and venture capitals to help entrepreneurs reach their goals. An abundance of links are provided in the resource library for those serious in ensuring the success of their new business.
“We are excited to put together a comprehensive web based resource that will help new businesses succeed in our area,” said Bill Sproull, President/CEO of the Richardson Economic Development Partnership. “This shows that we stand to make the City of Richardson a more inviting place for all businesses, and we have no doubt that these resources will nurture start-up businesses and make our city the primary destination for entrepreneurs in the region.”
The webpages were compiled by those with experience in the business community and encompasses all the information an entrepreneur will need. From the hurdles to overcome to the essential tasks to be completed, the REDP believes that the all-inclusive webpage will be the focal point for entrepreneurs living around the city of Richardson.
